Out of interest just how much do you think a Trilogo Yoda is worth Liam? I honestly think the one you linked is about right if not a bit expensive. In fact I was watching this end + chatting to some friends and I guessed $165 as it was over $100 already so wasn't far off it's ending price ;)

I think Yoda is one of the most common Trilogos out there but of course is a main character hence the prices, just take your time and one will turn up for about £70 no doubt!

I was already under the impression a Tri Yoda was scarce and £150+ in Mint Conditon? Once one comes below a £100 I will be all over it :D

I suppose if you want mint the sky is the limit, the one you linked to wasn't so mint, was nice though :)

A tip Liam: People get all hung up about unpunched and punched Trilogos when talking about quality pieces and think that unpunched somehow means it is much better.. In reality some Trilogos came factory punched and are completely different cards to the unpunched ones, so they are earlier and that's just how they were produced. It really has no factor on quality at all - in fact a factory punched Trilogo card is usually a lot thicker than the unpunched one - those were the mass produced ones.

I think you can easily get a nice C8+ Yoda Trilogo for under £100 just keep plugging away mate ;)

I have to agree with Liam. The tri Yoda is worth more now than it was a year ago. I think it would be very difficult to get one under 100 unless done via the forums. That Yoda looked in very good condition and i think you could easily get 140-150 for it. I paid 80 for mine about 6 months ago and it's not in as good condition as that one and i think i did well. I wouldn't take a penny under 120 for it.

As a seller yes but I bet you wouldn't pay £120 for it as a buyer ;)

I think it can be done easily for under £100, Liam- why not stick a bid of £85 on any that appear in the next few months and sooner or later you might be surprised.

What i would pay for items is in no way a yard stick for market value. Not even close.

I know this is only one example, but this Yoda sat and sat until it was reduced to 219 euros which is about £175 AND it was/is an AFA 80 (that's pretty damn perfect for a Trilogo) - http://www.ebay.de/itm/AFA-80-Star-Wars-Tri-Logo-Yoda-Brown-Snake-Moc-/130678804840?pt=Science_Fiction&hash=item1e6d105168#ht_500wt_1156

If you subtract £50-60 or so for AFA grading costs, it's acrylic case and shipping back and forth the buyer got a real gem of a Yoda for £125-115, so in theory if you weren't looking for AFA 80 quality you could easily pick one up for less than £100 in about a C8.

I know Iain got his for £70 or so and it looks as nice as that AFA one. Anomalies or not - if it's possible to save money and get one under budget - why not wait and try?

LOL that is true

I paid £70 for my ESB Yoda, £40 for my ROTJ Yoda and £80 for the tri. At the time the tri i thought was roughly market value give or take but i really wanted it. The other 2... not even close.
