Hey guys just wondering if any of you guys have seen the series Dexter, my wife had the first season bought for her at Xmas, and very unlike her she sat quietly and watched them one after the other ( normally dishing out orders too me it was a nice rest)

Anyway I thought I would buy her season 2, which I did, she then insisted I sit and watch it with her, which I did, I was hooked, I have never watched something apart from the walking dead where I can't wait for the next one.

Having finished season 2 I then bought season 3 and 4 grabbed some popcorn and a bottle of wine and cuddled up with my wife, season 3 was awesome, and I thought how could this get any better, but then the real gem came too life, season 4, wow it's freaking amazing guys, but last night we watched the last one and I have to say I have never been moved by anything on tv in my life how this moved me, I was utterly gob smacked and gutted.


Plz don't tell me what happens in season 5 and 6 but if any of you guys haven't watched Dexter give it a try, you won't be disapointed.
 
Yeah i've seen them all. It's brilliant. I'm not easily pleased and find most tv shows **** but for me Dexter is up there with the best - Sopranos 1-3, 24, The Wire.
It doesn't let up either mate. No spoilers but the season with John Lithgow is ****ing brilliant!
 
sure will do guys, but not sounding mental here (but probly will) i just cant get it out of my head what happened at the end of number 4 last night, i have even watched the ending again and it just feels like somebody has torn my insides apart, is season 5 as good as the others? (Don`t tell me what happens though) :)
 
I have seen them all too, season 5 is really great with a cliffhanger that will shock you. :) I heard it will end with season 7. Really curious to find out how season 6 starts... only a couple of months left to wait.

Btw, I also enjoy Fringe and The Big Bang Theory, which is comedy for a change, but it rocks.
 
Dennis, the one with the cliffhanger is season six. The next season will unfortunately be the last one. :(

But this is what I found on the net:
On November 18, 2011, it was announced that Dexter had been renewed for two more seasons. Season 7 will premiere on September 30, 2012.

Last episode of Season 6 aired on December 18, 2011. That being said I guess we're in for at least an 8th season. :)

Fringe is awesome Dennis! Missed the last two eposiodes of the most recemt series tho :cry:

I've watched them too but I thInk they've steadily got worse. The first few series are great but the last one wasnt so good and the latest one is awful. I've stuck with it in the hope it will improve but it hasn't :roll:

Saying that I'll watch next season anyway
