Dear Santa,
I hope this letter finds you well. I've been mostly good with a little bit of bad, so I hope you deem me fit for a nice Christmas still.
Here's a little list of various items that are of interest. I know they're not all within budget, but a guy can dream can't he.

Dear sant!
Please surprise me with anything vintage starwars related. I do have a soft spot for the ESB logo and last 17. But beyond that not fussed. Got bugger all other than my loose collection so unlikely to double up on something I have already got.
I promise to be a good boy and eat all my vegetables between now and Xmas.

No bones about it, I have been an absolute rotter all year, as you well know. I do hope my honesty has given me one or two extra points on the 'good chap' barometer.
Anticipating that good fortune, may I request one (perhaps two, at a push?) items from the forthcoming list:
Palitoy cardbacks up to the first 20 (big ask at the recent hike in prices, I know), any condition- I'm not that choosey where the glorious red, white and blue logo is concerned. As long as I get one in my possession, then I'll be quite content.
Update 03/09/13: I've now got Sand People, Death Squad Commander and Stormtrooper on Palitoy 12a cards, just so you know!
Clear acrylic action figure stands, I haven't got any- they'll come in very useful once I start building my loosie display.
Anything 'foreign' from the Miro-Meccano, Harbert lines... as long as it's got the 'La Guerre des Etoiles', 'Guerre Stellari', 'L'Empire Contre-Attaque' logos, then I'll be more than happy. I'm not asking for MOCs (I wouldn't be so bold *polite cough*), just something with the logo would be rather nice. Beater cards, maybe Soap-on-a-Rope? That would be a big hit- I can still smell the toxic fragrance from my 1978 R2-D2 and Threepio salves as I write this. Oh, happy days.
Topps Star Wars cards from 1977, blue or red series- I'm not fussy :wink:
Apart from the above list, I share Grant's enthusiasm for oddball stuff... as long as it's from the 1977 to 1982 era (my collecting doesn't go beyond '82). So hopefully that will give you plenty of scope.
If I receive anything from the Return Of The Jedi era, then I'm afraid it will be a full-on tantrum, and an embarrassing display of forced tears and convulsions, rolling about the floor by the Christmas Tree for the benefit of the relations and to the absolute horror of the parents come December 25th. Please don't put my siblings through this, I beg of you. It's not a pretty sight for anybody to witness. Seriously, though- anything Star Wars from 1983 onwards holds little nostalgic value for me, I like to see others display it, but I'm not that bothered about having any in my own collection.
Apologies if all that sounds rather brusque, but I thought it better to be clear about my 'wants' from the word go!
Do I sound difficult to buy for? I pity the poor fellow who gets me, as I now know that Father Christmas doesn't really exist (it's true, you know).
