I have a Darth Vader pendant, which came with artwork in a presentation folder which I bought from the Star Wars fan club in around 1983. The artwork consisted of a few pieces approx 60cm x 25cm and was in a folded black folder. The Darth Vader disc was attached to it, but sadly I have misplaced the artwork but the Vader pendant is still great. It is very heavy and has raised design of his face only. Its in a black grey metal approx 2" across. Its very wearable

Any ideas of the value and maybe some more information.

Many thanks in advance. :D

Hi Welcome to the forum and thanks for taking the time to post your request in the right section - most new members don't

Would really help if you upload a picture of the medal for us to see, here's how -

I know exactly what this is from.

The Official fan club sold this artwork folder back in the 80's. It was a black ESB folder that contained 2 Ralph McQuarrie prints. The medallion was of the Vader helmet and was fixed to the folder where it opened and usually ripped.

I have the folder, but no pendant. If you're looking to sell, I'm interested in buying it.

As SublevelStudios said this was part of the Limited Edition ESB Press Portfolio which was also made available by the Star Wars fan club. It's a nice item, both the medallion and the portfolio itself. Below is the Star Wars Archive Page showing the cardboard envelope that it came in and I've also attached a recent EvilBay sale of the full portfolio:

Based on that sale I would say that the medallion would sell for around £20-25.

One thing to be aware of is to ensure that the hook on the medallion hasn't broken as it is quite flimsy compared to the weight of the medallion.
