Darth Plagueis

Hey, I was watching Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones and I noticed a character in the Trade Federation council who looked very simmilar if not identical to the artist adaptation of Darth Plagueis from the graphic novels and the profile pic from Wookieepedia.com

I know that Darth Plagueis was killed by Darth Sidious and it is explained in Episode III.

I'm guessing there is a very simple answer to this question.
