This has been in my loft for years and was wondering if anyone can throw any light on
A - The name isn’t Darth Vader
B- is this a rare item
C - Does it hold any value ?

French Meccano, probably sold as a clearance item in the UK. Rarity wise it’s hard to be precise, but it’s far from common, especially sealed. Desirable? Yes, most definitely. Price wise £400 plus. 7-1000 is entirely feasible imo

I do know It was purchased in France, by my brother about 30 years ago , wow that shocks me at its potential value !

A little, but not hugely. It can also be removed, although I personally think it adds to the character and history of the item.
