Dark Blue R2 or?

Guys, is this the Dark Blue variant of R2?

Hey Emiel, it's very hard to tell in photos as I've found in the past. Finally got one and going by the pics I would again think it is the dark blue one.

With the camera flash right on R2 it is kind of hard to tell. I thought I had a better picture of mine, but this was the only one I could find. Once you compare with a regular R2 it is pretty obvious. Also, the side blue stipes on each leg are a darker color of blue as well.

Hey Emiel, Im going to go out on a limb here and say it doesnt look like a Dark Blue to me. The Dark Blue version is noticably darker and the one in the Original Pic just doesnt seem dark enough. I dont know whether other factors may have lightened it over time slightly.

It could be the flash or something like that but to me there is a noteable difference between that and the one pictured in the EB set.

I would say compare the blue o the dome to the blue on the stickers.

Original Photo - Simlar shades of blue.

EB Photo - Noticeably darker blue on the dome in comparison to the sticker.

I know its not an exact science but to me it doesnt look quite right buddy.

Ham he is not advertising it to be the dark blue variant. I know he's a knowledgeable guy so he probably would have done so if otherwise. Just thought there might be an off chance. Still a nice R2 though.

Here are a few of my R2's that show the difference of the dome and leg stripe better.

Left to Right: Solid dome dark blue (Hong Kong); Solid dome blue (Hong Kong); Solid dome light blue (Taiwan); Sensorscope shiny dome (No COO); Sensorscope matte dome (Hong Kong); Pop up Saber; Glasslite.
