cut cards......

back in the day why would someone cut around the bubble and keep the figure unopened! why not leave the whole thing as moc! if you were going to cut around the bubble you may aswell open the whole thing up.......seems daft. but i see quite a few crop up on the bay

I reckon a lot of cut cards have come from really damaged cards - this was probably done before the introduction of UGrading - which we all know now is the best way to get rid of a damaged (or even undmaged) card :?

tragedy! i reckon beater mocs have more character! you wouldn't catch me cutting a card up

I think alot of them came from the Kenner employee store. They cut them off the cards so the employees could not resell them to stores.

Most were cut down to be used as stocking stuffers for Christmas...
