This is awesome! I have a spare base and figures.... I have the black spray paint... where can i get a copy of the backdrop? 8)

Check out the link under the pic it leads tobthe fella who makes and sells the backdrops and decals. Very cool idea and a great way to use a spare base.

Great idea to recycle all those spare bulk parts.

The only problem is that it actually looks like something from Star Wars unlike any Kenner Star Wars playset.

I've seen this custom playset before and with Kenner's willingness to re-use base designs it seems quite plausible. The semi-circular bar makes a great double for a Death Star control panel but I think the paving stone flooring is the one thing that needs more work.

You can easily find a copy of the backdrop on line. The stickers are not that hard to make.

Considering the guy making the stickers and backdrop swaps spit with a known repro box maker...I am sure that will follow.
