Hi all,

If anyone has a copy of CS3 or above for Mac then please get in touch. Since updating my Mac to High Sierra I keep getting a blank Installer Alert window and can go no further in the installation process.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as have a bit of design work to do and have no way of doing any of it at this time. Thank you.

Ham

CS3? That's about a decade old mate

If you download the latest trial version of CC direct from Adobe, it's easy to find the crack for it which is only a small download compared to the whole package.

PM sent, thanks Edd. :)

Have you tried some of the fixes listed online? I had a similar issue and there are loads of ideas some easy some complex listed online. The one that worked for me in the end was really simple. I am trying to find the thread I worked from to confirm, but in the meantime try this (it was quite similar to this)

- To get to recovery mode on your Mac or MacBook, you will need to press and hold Command + R keys together when booting up your computer
- Once you are in the Recovery mode, click on the Apple logo on the top left corner of the screen and make sure that your startup disk is pointing to the Mac Boot disk
- Now find the macOS update program and run the update

I think he means the CS3 installer fails, not OS X. It's because CS3 is too old to run on High Sierra.
