Creature Cantina advice

Hello,

Been watching a few of these on Ebay. Prices seem to vary so much.
How rare are the Palitoy sets that come with special offer figures? What sort of wonga do these go for?
Has the Blue Snag ever been packaged with this playset?

Looks like a great piece but seemingly hard to come by in good condition.

Hi Jim,

This set never came with the Blue snag which only appeared in the Sears cantina set.
The palitoy set is more difficult to acquire and will command a hefty premium. Yes, prices are all over the place for these - you need to be lucky.

The Palitoy Cantina with the 4 figures is incredibly rare, if I remember correctly there are 2 versions, one with the figures in baggies and one with the figures carded. If you're lucky enough to find either one then all bets are off - we're talking thousands of pounds easily.
The standard playset without figures is easier to find, but with current prices I would guess anywhere between £100-300, maybe more.
I so wish I'd held on to mine. I sold the playset pictured below (complete with bonus free Greedo) in 2008 for.....£52.80.

Research continuing....

Oh yeah, we're talking sealed here. The one at Final frontier is interesting, there is no mention if the figures are included, I would guess not.
I'm sure that a sealed Palitoy Cantina, with the four figures on 20 back Palitoy cards inside, would be quite pricey, and then some.

Yeah I like the one at final frontier, mainly because it had the 'Green Greedo' advertised!

Emailed the guys at Final Frontier and whilst figures are included, they are loose and the Palitoy cards they came with are not included. Still a very smart piece mind.
