Good afternoon,

I've been working for a while on a small multiplayer Star Wars–inspired game, and I'd love to share it in the future with others who are just as passionate as I am.

It all started from my love of building websites and apps purely for fun. At some point, I thought 'why not create something in a universe I really enjoy?' That's when the idea of a Star Wars–based game came to life: Riseofcoruscant.com

I quickly leaned toward a strategy game (a genre I really enjoy) and thought it would be interesting to blend the Star Wars universe with a Stellaris-style interface.

I'm not a professional game developer, and I quickly realized how big the task would be. But instead of giving up, I adapted my approach. I decided to build the game around conquering and controlling sectors across a galaxy using similar approach to Pixel games.

Right now, I'm developing a large, interactive galaxy map accessible via browser and mobile, where players can build structures and explore the entire galaxy.

What is the game about?

  • Choose a faction (Republic, Federation, Hutt Clan, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other players to grow your faction
  • Vote on new laws in the Senate to strengthen your faction or disrupt others
  • The more sectors you control, the more credits and actions you gain
  • Credits are generated daily by your sectors
  • Use credits to expand, fortify, or attack nearby enemy factions
  • Claim planets to get extra credit for you and your faction

Current Progress

At the moment, I'm mainly focused on core gameplay. My goal is to have a playable version ready by the end of the year.

I'll also be launching a Discord server soon to share updates and start building a community around the game.

I don't want to monetize this and shouldn't need to justify any sort of financing from a community. It is a nice project. If the game doesn't work or I feel this is too expensive to run, I can just have an immersive galaxy map
The second you monetise this it's dead, hopefully you know that
