Crayon Sculptures

Given the quality is average at best they are way overpriced. Should be £4-5 each tops!
Cool idea tho. 8)

Your a tuff critic Pete. I thought he did a good job for it being a crayon. I agree on the price, but I wonder how much time it takes him to do just one.

I only looked at the Yoda and the Chewie. Thought both were very so so. Also looked at a TMNT he did which was rubbish. If someone's asking £30 quid for something it ought to be a astonishingly skilful and accurate sculpt.

 Sorry, i don't mean to be mean. Don't get me wrong, i think it's very clever and way beyond my talents and a couple of them look pretty good. If this was someone's little project i'd have nothing but praise but when you list it online for sale at a premium price i think one has to accept the criticism and the praise. The market will be the biggest critic.

Average? Really? The guy has done something quite unique and very skilful, average they are not. It always baffles me why some folks are so quick to shoot down someone's obvious talent.

Wasn't a personal comment on the guy. As i said, it't a "product" so i'm really judging it by the fact that each crayon is priced at £30. I don't think they're £30 good.
Also, it's just an honest opinion between friends. Something that is completely welcome on this forum.

This guy does something similar with pencils. Each to their own but i much prefer these to the crayon ones (hope that's ok with you SublevelStudios ?)
A couple of the Crayon guys one's i quite like, the Millennium Falcon one is very good but this guy's stuff it just insane.

These are nice things. Difficult to put a price on them because it's something that probably very few (if any) of us could do. Bit like painting a picture or something. Who decides what it's worth?
