Complete loose AFA graded "U" Collection

It seemed to me being a newby a crass thing to do in regard to the U grade situation, I do have the benefit of hindsight though and to look a the issue retrospectively

It seems through the posts that this is a practice that is dying out, and wholeheartedly agree, we all make mistakes in life, in the main for the right reasons usually :?
I for one would not hold this against anyone who has turned to the light side, past is past

Has anyone noticed this? nearly 300 views and 0 comments or takers. Look like there are a lot of U grade haters out there.

To be fair to the original seller - there are no silly prices there and many are on or around the same price as you would find for that figure graded loose (without that pesky U)

From my point of view, I would rather these sort of figures did the rounds now - once the damage has been done - rather than new U Grades appear on the market - and kudos to the seller for starting the thread the way he has

I guess that since Stefan posted this then a few people have been biting as some are marked as sold. Not surprised there have been no replies tho - can't see anyone sending a 'PM sent' - it would be like being caught walking into a sex shop :lol:

Yeah I originally posted several days after it FS thread was started. I've now seen myself that loads are now marked as sold and hopefully it'll feed the U-grade collectors appetite enough to save a few damaged moc's out there.

Does the PM sent thing work anymore?, the amount of times I've enquired about items and I've been told, sorry pending, sorry sold!, why waste time typing PM sent when you can send the actual PM quicker.

It seems to mean absolutely JACK! Actually seems to be detremental to getting a deal done because of the mentality that some people have 'If he wants it then I want it more' which has lead to numerous incidents of 'back dooring' on a deal done. I recently agreed to purchase a high end POTF moc and the seller bumped the thread as 'sale pending'. He then received higher offers from other members and surprise surprise he's decided to 'keep it in his collection' - and that was all after I had paid a deposit to secure the piece. It never used to like this but the market is sooo much more cut-throat these days.
