As you guys know for the last few years I've always done a big 'Epic Prize Draw' I was going to announce another in a couple of weeks as I'm just about to launch my biggest most stupidest challenge yet but I'm worried about Prize Draw/Raffle/Competition fatigue. The forum always does so well and is really supportive but there have been a fair few initiatives recently. Is it too much?

If it is I'll skip it this year and just rely on normal sponsorship etc

Are there too many prize draws? Thoughts?

Not too many at all! knowing what you're doing, you'll benefit from the distraction of it as much as we'll all enjoy taking part. If the Bethany one says anything, its that the draws are more popular than ever... :D

Everyone loves the competitions and raffles on here, I'll just need to source a prize for you :D

My thoughts.

I am happy to donate to raffles and comps, both prizes and cash, for what is genuine fundraising. Your challenges, Chris manns marathon, Neil's fundraising for the family Friends daughter, that sort of thing.

The ones I don't care for is "give person x a load of stuff because they are a great guy". I have only participated in one of these (the second was a follow up from a huge charity fundraiser and part of that imo), and the one I did again I considered slightly different as we were thanking edd for running the forum.

So crack on Jez. I will find you some stuff to give away as a prize and buy some tickets.

Jez its for a really good cause, always such a selfless act. I totally support the raffle, if people don't want to contribute they don't have to but if you can raise anything extra from a raffle on here then do it. I'm sure it'll get the support it requires. You are a machine, remind me a lot of myself!

OK cool. Thanks lads.

I've shed load of stuff on at the mo and waiting for a couple more pieces of info to come in, but i'll see if i can start it at the beginning of February. If thats cool with Ed.

That should leave enough of a gap between Neil's wonderful prize draw, Secret Santa and this.

Well I spoke with the Prop Store boys at Celebration just after the 2016 raffle.
Brandon told me that if I do another in 2017 I should give him a call as Prop Store might be able to help out.
Me and Brandon have recently exchanged messages. :D
We'll have to see if anything can be arranged. Anything from Prop Store would be kinda cool. 8)

Jes these are always epic and you must continue to put them on :) looking forward to seeing which characters you rope in to help with the video draw 8)

You can put me down for a prize donation.

Absolutely fine by me! People can see when it's being done for the right reasons.

Ha! I did one of them as well. Then someone sent this cool thing with everyone's name on that contributed, and mine wasn't on it. Its about the giving or something but I cried for a week

You go Jez! I'm skint and may not give anything but my love and special favours. But half these guys are multi millionaires what with rising prices. They can afford it :)

JEZ you are a legend as we all know, so crack on, put me down for donating a prize...
