come on Israel

Fair play to England, they got their miracle!
What odds on you lot ****ing it up now by losing to Croatia?

One question though, IF (IF) England qualify McClown (by default) will keep his job; is that a good thing?
The FA have no reason to sack him if you make it through, unless you do terribly in the tournament. Thus your stuck with him in charge for another 2 years

Hard luck on Scotland, they came so close to making it through, as did my lot. Just those two stupid ****ig defeats to Iceland will cost us qualification   For Scotland it's probably the defeat to Georgia.

Mind you if you had offered both sets of fans third place in their respective groups when the draw was made they would have bitten your hands off.

Now mclarens reverted to the Lampard and gerrard midfield - we've got no chance even if we do manage a draw with Croatia :(

Why does he keep on persisting with them - have they had a single good game as a pair?

EHH cos he's a ****ing muppet, and "no" they haven't had a decent game together, that I can remember. Gotta feel for Gareth Barry!

I'd prefer England not to qualify as it risks burning out Gerrard for next season and it's bad enough Spain have already qualified!! :x

Why are you bothered about Gerrard being knackered for next season? He'll be playing in Spain

And we're really missing him

Once Torres is knackered by january, it will be another year that the scousers can't win the prem and don't have the usual luck needed to win the CL

How long do you think Stevie G is prepared to wait for the Prem? I honestly reckon he'll be off next year when you miss out again

and your gonna win what this year :?:

Depends on how focussed they are but they should win something, as I said pre-season I thought the prem was there for the taking

If not this year then next, the future is very bright - you should see the players coming through  Carlos Vela has finally got his EU passport and will be back at Arsenal next year - he's even better than Cesc

You lot have an equally good youth system, its just Raffa doesn't trust them.

What with the amount of young English players coming up through both Arsenal's and liverpool's youth teams England might even win something

Arsenal will end up in their usual fourth place and they know it!!

If Stevie is so desperate to win the Premier League then what's the point of moving to Spain as he will have zero chance compared to the one in four chance he currently has.

Sorry Spoons, but that's the best laugh I've had in years!

Note the MIGHT win something

It's all the foreigner's fault - if they didn't exist England would only have the England b-team to play against and one of them would have to win

Englands biggest problem is the bloody press, hyping the team up for months before every tournament/game and then slagging them off if they don't win 100-0.
The Englands team are either the best eleven players the world has ever seen or the biggest bunch of over paid wankers.....There's nothing in between. Add that to the amazing ability they have to stalk the life out of any manager who might be interested and you aint got any hope.
Admittedly more than the other 3 or 4 "home" nations, but still not much!

I'm more worried about will any of the arseholes in BBC NI fork out 400k Euro for the rights to show our game! It's not as if we can still qualify (long shot I know) for our first major tournament since Mexico '86!
