None of us have done this for a pat on the back but it's really nice to see a message like that. Very genuine and I wish you all the best in tracking down these scumbags Deber.

Got it thank you Grant, hugely generous donation may I add which I am sure Deborah will put to great use, many many thanks for the support :)

I'm only to happy to help a fellow in need or damsel in distress. All the best people,

Grant.

I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has banded together to make this happen, there has been an outstanding & heartfelt response & we have a nice box of goodies that will soon be on its way to Deborah, which I am sure will raise a smile & with luck both eyebrows when opened, I am just waiting on a single item which should be in early next week before I post the pressie out, I will PM EVERYONE that has donated with a sneak preview so you can see what you have all helped out with.

Again I thank you all so so much for helping to make this happen for a fellow member who really needs a little pick me up.

Nice one folks! :P

Just to give you guys who helped making this all possible a fair update on this thread, a little birdy told me Deborah will be getting and opening her parcel this Friday. I managed to get a photographer to capture that moment and the pictures and her message will be shared here on the boards afterwards.

I don't think she will see this message as she hasn't really got internet acces at the moment (no pc at home anymore) so no harm in sharing it with you guys.

I am proud off what we pulled of togheter and i am sure it will be appreciated.

Special thanks to Frank for organising this whole thing as i know it must have not been easy, cost alot off time and effort. Hats off to you Sir.

I love the fact it was a global effort...it goes to show we can all get along and pull together for a common cause.

This exactly, the modern era shits me at times with how technology moves so quickly. Saying that this is an example of how cool it can be, people from all corners of the globe getting together to brighten someone's day. Very nice!

Well done to all involved especially to those who handled the organisation, Frunky, Dennis and Drakon. Hats off to you all!

Hello everyone,

Before I express just how thankful I am for everything you have done for me, I owe each and every one of you a sincere apology for my behavior. I am well aware of the fact that this post is overdue and for that, I am truly, incredibly sorry. Please, understand that this is not because I am unappreciative or unsatisfied with the package I received from you, but the opposite. The support I received from all of you was big, but the package, that was immense. I honestly just didn’t know how to respond to such generosity; generosity of a degree I had never experienced before. Feeling greatly overwhelmed, I didn’t, and still don’t, know how to approach this and the longer I waited to post, the more difficult it became. I sincerely apologize for my behavior, I really should not have waited this long, I am ashamed to say the least. If anyone would like their items returned or a financial compensation, please contact me, I completely understand.

Now I want to take a moment to thank all of you, each and every one of you that contributed to the package, thank you! Opening the package was definitely an enjoyable, but also an emotional experience. It was not until now that I really held figures themselves, because I had been building a collection of Moc items. Being on the receiving end of such generosity and selflessness is just indescribable. Because of what happened, I no longer put Star Wars items on display at home, with the exception of the small display I made for the items I received (pics will follow soon, need to get the right cable to get them on the comp). I will admit, the enjoyment of putting together a display again, rotating items so the complement each other, was insane. Despite what has happened, this gives me that boost to build a collection again. Though I’d focus on baggies and lose figures. Your actions have proven that kindness is still out there.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom on my heart!

Frank, Dennis and Matt, thank you guys for everything, and I mean everything not just the package.

Deb
