Collection for deber?

Only 12 donations so far including my own, come on you lot dig deep - we can do a lot better, I am aiming to see this list top 30.

If you don't have a figure/card or baggie, a weapon or accessory will suffice, maybe a piece of SW related art you have done or just a token small cash donation, its not what or how much, its the thought that counts folks, lets make this happen for Deb's

Well we have all just been put to shame

I have been speaking to a real nice guy via ebay whom I sold a few mint loose figure to & I suggested he come have a look at the forum as he seems a nice bloke & just getting in to collecting & wanted to know more.

So he has been viewing the forum & wants to join when time permits.

He has read this thread & has not got any figures to spare as he is just trying to complete his own collection, but has just sent me £50 towards the cause - shocked is an understatement :shock: & not even a member here, I do hope he joins & will be welcomed when he does, what an outstanding gesture & I hope it motivates a few more members on here to put there hands in there proverbial pockets & give a little back.

im going to put my foot in it here and ask a few questions, i just dont want to see you guys lose out.

This is a superb forum with great generous members, but do any of you know deber? we are talking about a new member of a few months that has asked questions about insuring their collection from theft, then it gets stolen.

I just want to know if its all ok, there is a bad vibe with regards to collecting at the moment.

Don't know her as to have met her in person, but have spoken to her a few time via PM & she was good enough to offer to step aside for me on an item she was buying if I wanted it, though its nothing concrete for sure, I felt it a vary nice gesture, maybe we have other collectors based in Holland who have met her face to face?

I think it would be a nice idea to add the guys Ebay ID to here if he is willing, just so we know he's a nice guy and can buy from him in the future?!

Can I just please remind you all that 50p toward onward postage when your send you figures/etc on to me will really help with the onward postage costs to Holland, as it will be a good size parcel & the postage will not be cheap, I would like to try to put any cash donations toward something nice for Deborah rather than it all going on postage costs.

I sent a text to deborah today (to get her new adress) and apparently she was not aware off all this as she has no computer for the moment.
But i have explained a little bit to her, why we needed her adress and here is what she wrote back (well the original was in dutch, so i translated it for you guys):

Hi Dennis,
I really don't know what to say...... I did not even realise that you guys were doing this.
It brings tears to my eyes. It's so extremely kind of you guys!
Don't know what to say... Its a fantastic feeling to get so much support and i do appriate the great gesture from everybody.
It's not about the items, but just the idea that you guys did this is just heartwarming.
I cannot explain how good this makes me feel! So Sweet!
A fantastic group of people! Once we are moved and i have a new PC and Internet acces, i'll be back on the forum.
I personally will thank everybody involved for the support, help, pm's and emails.
It would be super, if you could expres my appreciation allready to everybody. What an amazing cheerup! Really really sweet!
