I guess that quite a few of us have bought items from Cloud City before. However, if you don't venture onto Rebelscum too much you may not know that they have been taken over by Brians Toys. As a result new purchases are very likely to incur customs charges as BT's won't generally declare a lower value on the forms (as CC would do, as they used a third party insurance company).

The good news is that Ron Wallace (formerly of CC) has set up a new company called Wormhole Collectables. He's a very good chap to deal with too

This may be old news to some of you but I thought it was worth pointing out so theres no shocks when Parcelfarce send a charge letter :roll:

I'm guessing Ron/Wormhole are working on the old system where by you can avoid/circumvent the need to give the Gov MORE money?

Ive purchased quite a lot from ron/wormhole over the last 5 ish years and have never had a problem. He is willing to combine postage, declare low value/gift and packs really well for transportation. Overall I would say excellent guy to buy from.
