Anyone else watch the opening 2 episoides? I was pleasantly surprised and will probably watch the rest of them.

Nope, didn't see it. No interest to be honest.
Having said that, the live action series sounds promising. The less Lucas has to do with it the better.

I like the Clone Wars stuff to be honest, even thought the animated movie was fairly good and the first 2 seasons of the cartoon series were fairly enjoyable too

Out of all the Modern stuff I sold over the last few years the Clone Wars stuff is the only stuff that I wish that I had held onto.

The animated one from a few years ago was split into two seasons. The new CG one as of right now is just one series. The film that was in theaters was basically the intro to the series which shows how Anakin gets is padawan Ahsoka. Not including the movie as of last night we are on episode 5.

I personally am enjoying the series, but I never expected a lot from it.

DL'd the movie and first 5 eps last night, thought the movie was ok....parts of it were superb, mainly before that awful padawan and the slug joined the action!
