Been meaning to put this on here for a while. Just a gob-smacking price.

Spotted another who obviously jumped on the bandwagon as he mentions the $6k of the previous one. Thing is, he does say crystal clear bubble, but it does look like it's on the turn, particularly the bit on the right that goes over the photo of Luke. It went for $4319.

As a comparison a Y85 went for just $662. Ok, not a straight 85s, but still, 5 more on the card, and a clear bubble means x10??

Question is, would you pay more for a clear bubble, and how much more proportionally would you pay? I've done it for around 25% more. Part of me thinks there is a chance it'll last a very long time as it has already got this far, or it will at least only go a little yellow.

Hi there.

This isn't rs. A lot of people here are here because this isn't rs. A lot of people here don't use rs. I'm sure the op could probably use google to find the thread, but I expect he wants to discuss the subject with some of the guys he chats Star Wars with on a day to day basis.

Just saying.

Yeah I have a username on RS, but only pop on there for a look every few months. It doesn't touch this site. There's issue with putting a story up on multiple sites as many people don't use them all. I'm not on TIG, don't really discuss stuff on Facebook as the interface for discussion is annoying, so I'll put most stuff here.

It is shocking what clear bubble POTF MOCs r fetching right now :!: What was more shocking was how many clear POTF MOCs one particular seller had

I just wonder how much of a gamble it is investing mega bucks in a clear bubble MOC from a line that is the most notorious of all lines for yellow/brown bubbles :!: :!:
Or possibly and obviously hopefully for the buyer because it has stayed clear all this time it will continue to do so :?:

Mr Zack Tann. Does tons of selling of top pieces. I believe he said he acquired most of them last year or around that time, and he was particular about going for POTF MOCs in the best shape he could find.

Yes seen him on FB , does seem to have some nice items ! :D and a bunch of cash

It's to be expected that there are some people in the hobby with deep pockets, but you and I can afford a few nice bits and pieces, so we would be the equivalent of him to those who can only afford a small loose collection.

I know of a few people who have no use for him. He is part of the problem with the hobby at the moment.

Dead right. He manages to make new markets by totally over-paying for good stuff, then sells them on afew months later for even more. Clear bubble POTFs is an obvious one, but he's been paying Vectis handsomely for Palitoy stuff, grading it and selling that on for a premium as well.

Sad thing is, most of the FB world seem to think the sun shines out of his arse without looking at how he's causing the problem.

Facebook Facebook Facebook. What are we to do with it. Instant celebrity, hundreds of faceless experts, little cliques and rules rules rules.

A brave new world is upon us all.
