As we're into December my Watch is rolling out a timely seasonal fire safety message highlighting the dangers of overloading electrical sockets - basically we know this is the time of year when everyone digs out their old block adapters to plug in their xmas tree lights so we are encouraging them to use the safer strip socket adapters. I spoke with our local Asda and they were good enough to supply us with 100 adapters to give out on the run up to Christmas.

I did a little story for our local paper to highlight the initiative and when it came to getting the picture I thought I would add a little vintage magic to the presents under the tree :D

Hopefully a few SW fans in the papers catchment area will notice the picture and have a wee smile to themselves.

Have a very merry and safe Christmas
Colin.

Nice Colin, love that picture with vintage stuff. Is that you with the wife and daughter on the picture ?

Nice work.

My Xmas safety message is:-

Don't let the wife try and buy you a surprise vinyl cape jawa she found cheap on ebay and/or from some dodgy bloke off the phone in Wales.

:)

No mate that's the very nice and generous Asda event co-coordinators that helped me get the 100 adapters - but we just called them Elves or Santa's helpers :D

There are no Vinyl Cape Jawas in Wales- trust me.

There was one- but Gary Smith took it.
