Childhood Vintage Star Wars/Toy Shop Taunton

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had any memories of a legendary toy shop that used to be in Taunton, Somerset?

I have very fond memories of going in as a child in the 90s, they had a massive vintage Star Wars range, (aswell as other retro toys like predators etc) then it just randomly closed down. Think they may have had a break-in potentially?

Just curious to see if anyone had any memories or information of what happened to the owners/shop. Can't seem to see any info of it online anywhere

It was on Bridge Street, roughly here somewhere!?

Hi, sorry, missed this post! Yes this was a great little shop, the owner John (can’t remember surname?) was a lovely chap, very friendly. Bought quite a lot of vintage off him both at the shop and at toy fairs. I don’t think he was making enough to cover the rent and sadly it only lasted a few years.
