Chief Chirpa Staff ?

Hi guys I found this light brown staff and I thought could it be repro or something special ? This is the first staff I have seen with such a light color.

First I thought Lili Ledy but there is no letter that I can find on staff.

So what could it be ?

interesting, I have such a figure. But not from the same lot the staff came from. Is there a special hood for the white chief chirpa ?

This does look like the staff for a white chief chirpa. It is a light brown and the tip of the staff is angled almost to a chisel point. I think you will find that the white chirpa comes with a slightly different headress too. I think its a lighter colour to the standard version.

Thanks chris, I think I have 30 hoods so maybe I have a lighter hood. Do you know if it came from a special card ?

I think they came with lighter brown hoods as well as the darker brown ones. The same thing applies to the staff.

The lighter and darker brown hoods I've seen have a circle in them.

agreed cos there are 4 different white fur variants

#2, #1, #5 grey & white fur, #4 grey & two white fur.

Are those hood only for the white chief chirpa or can they also be found on other chief chirpa figures ?

To me it looks like there is 2 circle variants on those hoods. Is it the deep circle or just the circle ? or are they both the right hood for this figure ?

I don't know, but I would hazard a guess that they are found on "normal" Chirpas as well.

I've only seen them with normal circles in the hood.

I think that its important to go with the molds when it comes to accessories and these hoods where made in Macau, same goes for the pointy staff. COO's #3, #4 + #5 in the TIG guide are Macau made so both grey and white could have been found with either light or dark accessories. I have mine matched up with COO #3, grey Chirpa and dark brown staff. COO #4, white Chirpa with light accessories. COO #5, White Chirpa with light accessories.

Lars, I think the different circles inside the hoods just look different because of the amount of plastic injected in to the mold, out of your 8 circle hoods have you got any light and dark versions or just one colour?

All 8 Hoods are the same color and the same type of plastic or I think it is more like rubber. Very soft and easy to bend :wink: The Hoods are darker than some of the hoods with a letter inside it.

The one I have is coo 5 so is a dark hood with a circle inside it and a light brown staff wrong for him ?

Would be cool to see a picture of the different colour hoods you have Lars, for me your hood and light staff is right for your white Chirpa.
