Chewies green bowcaster?

Hi Snaggletooth i think dont quote me here but that is the blue variant the green type is only green when you shine light through it, there is no deffinitive early bird type as there are different types encountered in that set, I wanted to put together a set of the figure types commonly found in the EB set HONG KONG Chewie with green bow HONG KONG Leia with translucent blaster Dark Blue HONG KONG R2 and a 2 line COO letter hilted Luke which is probably why i paid more than i should have done all the above can be found on 12 backs so its just the type i was going for.

Hi James. I think your right but depends who is selling it it some times is labeled green, I just think that in the picture above it looks blue/green like this one. That would be a cool set of figs to mate, do you know which HK COO the Chewy has?

i have a pinhead han with green blaster, even with out the light you can see that it has a slight greenish tinge. when held to natural day light it really shows translucent green.
you could always request the seller to email you a further photo of the blaster held up to light, any honest seller will do this!

Does anyone have a blue as in true blue Not the green Chewie on a 12 back? i know the true blues can be found in EB sets but are they on 12 backs as well? Snaggle again there isnt a true indication of EB types but i found these to be commonly found

Chewie i played safe and picked up no 1 and no 7 just to be sure as there both found

R2 i went for the dark blue top and for luke i went for a 2 line HK Coo with a lettered hilted sabre. and just to be safe a 2 line HK Coo DT luke

I've got a couple of these and there the real translucent blasters, I also had another one that was the same as the chewy green bow, dark blue/black to look at but semi translucent green when held up to light.

Thanks for the info mate, I'm sure I have that Leia and Chewy and those two blaster's, well a V3 translucent blue/green leia blaster, Is that the one?

Hi Snag yep that sounds like the one if you hold it up to the light the handle should be a very similar shade to the green chewie, I have the same weapon on a 12 back A carded one but with the black eyed feature Leia.

Currently, "True Blue" Bowcasters are only found with "Made In Hong Kong" baggies. COO: "Made In Hong Kong". Exactly what is pictured above that SWCA states is a Green Bowcaster which it clearly is not.

Hi Guys.

This Chewie was sold to me a few years back as a an Early Bird Green Crossbow variant in a lot I brought ( same as that FX7/Hoth Stormie Miscard ).

Sorry about the quality of the pics these were back when i didnt know how to use a camera not saying i do now but you know what i mean :lol: :lol:

Great to know Jedi, so thats the same figure thats found in Marco's SW baggie posted by James? Jambob, thats an ESB era baggie.

Thanks for confirming that Sanggle, I have seen two EB sets with that ESB Baggie in on my searches and i thought it was possibly one that was added to complete a set which was missing a Chewie.

No worries mate, I think your right on that but I know nothing about the EB sets, I wouldn't buy one with an ESB baggie in it anyways.

Checked my 4 chewie figs and found a what's to be a blue/black? I think could be green? but I doubt
it. It was paired with my small HK COO Chewie. Check out the pics below.

That would not be a Green one for 2 reasons. 1: It's not Green. 2: Green Bowcasters are only found with the squared off trigger.
