And he was elected TWICE Iain??? The thing that scares me more is the amount of people that voted him in (although he lost the popular vote in 2000 :wink: )

Unfortunately I can't accept that explanation for all of the reasons I stated on my previous post. It was the perfect excuse to start an unwinable war against a non existent enemy. "War on terror" my arse. Those buildings did not "fall" they were controlled demolitions. Larry silverstein later talks in an interview about "pulling" WTC7.

In a public address, Bush claimed to have watched the first plane hitting before he entered the class room that day. We all know that the official story is that one of his guards entered the class room to tell him about it all. Flossy memory or a bare faced lie.
 
A conspiracy that would have involved 100's if not thousands of people who haven't leaked. Circumstantial evidence to support a conspiracy. Many of the conclusions made by 9/11 are because the commission report was quite poor.

The building fell at free fall speed because the majority of the upper floors had already given way as was being supported by floors beneath the impact zone. They were carrying a massive load. To generate a demolishing of the 2 towers would have taken months of work to prep. Who prepped it? Where are they?

If they had committed this conspiracy it would have been the end of the US. No trade, internal collapse of political and social society. It far more likely that the event was used as an excuse to finish business in Iraq and control oil.

The theory complete nulls a terrorist attack for what it was. The same technique was employed by Algerian terrorist before to blow up the Effile Tower.

When political administrations make up conspiracies like Iraq and Bin Laden are together, then you can't blame the public to follow suit.

WTC7 burnt for hours. There is a photo of the south side of the building showing that half the south side of the building is missing and on fire that is conveniently missing from conspiracy documentaries. There are 100's of fireman reports that were in building 7 that day that said the building burnt for hours and they were convinced it would collapse at any time.

Why won't academics touch this story? Why won't independent media outlets touch this story?

9/11 conspiracy is a product of mass disinformation used by the internet. The internet has created a massive impact on conspiracies and 9/11 was its first born.

I'm afraid that government doesn't work in the way conspiracies lay out. They are not benign Machiavellians that control the world. They are incompetent reactionaries that use events to push through political agendas.

Casting broad strokes here.

I was a major 9/11 truth nut for 5 years. Hands up, i was wrong. :?

I will concede that The Bush Administration knew that the attack was going to happen in amongst other reports, but ignored it through incompetence.

If the Bush Administration did the 9/11 attacks, why did they blame their closest allies, Saudi Arabia. Why not blame Iraq?
The hawks jumped on it the same way they did with Pearl Harbour. Ignorance and incompetence was used to push a geopolitical agenda

Even left wing radicals that despise and are highly critical of Bush/US that wont go any where near the conspiracy. Why?
