My request: "Write a Star Wars scene in the style of Tolkien"

and the response:

In the shadows of a distant galaxy, where stars danced in ethereal harmony, a grand council convened within the ancient halls of the Jedi Order. The luminous beings, cloaked in robes of wisdom, gathered beneath the celestial glow of a luminescent crystal chandelier.

Amidst the murmurs of the wise, Jedi Master Aelarion, the venerable sage with a mane of silver, arose from his seat, his eyes filled with the timeless knowledge of the Force. In his hands, he cradled a holocron, an artifact of forgotten lore that held the secrets of the ancient Jedi lineage.

"My brethren," Master Aelarion spoke with an air of solemnity, "behold this holocron, a fragment of the wisdom passed down through eons. It carries the echoes of our noble forebears, those who once stood against the encroaching darkness."

The council leaned forward, their hearts attuned to the words of the venerable master. A hush fell over the assembly, the weight of history and destiny palpable in the air.

"Darkness spreads its tendrils once more across the galaxy," Master Aelarion continued, his voice deepening with foreboding. "An ancient malevolence reawakens, seeking to enslave all beings under its sway. But we, the guardians of light, stand united against this encroaching night."

He raised the holocron above his head, and its ethereal glow bathed the chamber in a shimmering radiance. The Jedi council could feel the profound energy emanating from the ancient artifact, binding them together in purpose.

"We must seek the One who is foretold, a soul of unyielding valor and purity," Master Aelarion intoned, his eyes gazing into the distant stars as if seeking a glimpse of the future. "A champion who will rise against the shadow, like a bright star amidst the black expanse, and guide the galaxy towards the dawn of hope."

The council nodded in solemn agreement, their resolve strengthened by the wisdom of their ancient lineage. For in this pivotal moment, they knew that their actions would shape the fate of countless generations yet to come.

And so, in the shadows of that distant galaxy, the Jedi council embraced their sacred duty, to safeguard the light, to stand firm against the encroaching darkness, and to await the advent of the chosen one, whose destiny would be etched in the annals of cosmic legend, as the stars continued their eternal dance.

I don't know, we might get some Star Wars films with a decent plot now. 😜
Let's see:

EXT. SPACE - ABOVE A DESERT PLANET (TATOOINE)

Luke Skywalker's X-wing is outnumbered and taking heavy fire from a squadron of TIE fighters. He struggles to hold his own in the intense battle.

INT. REBEL BASE - COMMAND CENTER

Kathleen Kennedy watches the unfolding battle on a holographic display. With a determined look, she quickly puts on her pilot gear and heads to her X-wing.

EXT. SPACE - ABOVE DESERT PLANET

Kathleen's X-wing enters the fray, expertly taking down several TIE fighters with precise shots.

INT. KATHLEEN'S X-WING - COCKPIT

Kathleen's face shows a mix of focus and concern as she spots Luke's struggling X-wing.

Hang on, Luke! I'm coming to help!

LUKE SKYWALKER
(via comms)
Kathleen? This is unexpected, but I could use the help!

Together, they work as a team, taking out the remaining TIE fighters with remarkable skill.

EXT. SPACE - ABOVE DESERT PLANET - REBEL BASE

Kathleen and Luke's X-wings return to the Rebel base, victorious.

INT. REBEL BASE - HANGAR

As they exit their cockpits, Luke approaches Kathleen with gratitude in his eyes.

LUKE SKYWALKER
(smiling)
Thank you, Kathleen. You saved my skin back there.

KATHLEEN KENNEDY
(smiling back)
No need to thank me. It's what we do for each other in the Rebellion.

EXT. TATOOINE - CANTINA - NIGHT

Kathleen and Luke walk through the bustling cantina, still exhilarated from the battle. They find a quiet corner to sit and talk.

LUKE SKYWALKER
(leaning in)
You know, Kathleen, I never expected to see you out there with us, fighting like that.

KATHLEEN KENNEDY
(grinning)
Well, surprises can be a good thing sometimes, don't you think?

Their eyes meet, and there's an unspoken connection between them.

LUKE SKYWALKER
(softly)
More than a good thing, I'd say.

Kathleen leans in, and they share a tender kiss, their hearts racing with newfound emotions.

STAR WARS FANS
We'd like to see a good Star Wars film please that the vast majority of us can like and get behind. Even the prequels managed that, despite a lot of justified grumbles about Jar Jar and the Anakin / Padme love story. Those films weren't as good as the original trilogy, but even so, most fans found a lot to like about them, so it shows that it can be done without dividing the fanbase, as well as making you billions at the box office and in toy shops (*cough* Rose Tico).

KATHLEEN KENNEDY
The Force is Female. Now shut up as I have to count how much money I've lost Disney on 'Indiana Jones and the Dire Box Office'. Roughly $300 million, I reckon. Great, so that's Star wars, Willow and now Indy all ruined.... OK, now where did I put 'Howard the Duck'...?
