Changing Vintage history MK2

Following on from the great thread about which figures you would replace started by Maulster79 (great thread BTW), I figured this may also be an interesting one worthy of discussion.

So if you could alter 5 figures to be less dork-worthy which would they be?

Again only one Ewok allowed - sorry! :mrgreen:

For me it would be -

1. Leia Bespin - give her some feet she can actually stand up with :lol: & alter the crap face/head moulding
2. Weequay - WTF was with the way they shaped his hands to fit the force pike - LAME!
3. Luke poncho - Moulded on hat - WTF where they thinking MEGA LAME!
4. Power Droid - made him thinner like in the film
5. Any one of the R2's - to a 3 legged one

This was a hard one Frank!
I kept looking to my cabinet to see which ones I would change or trade off, but there's only modern stormies there now

1-Greedo, tone down that green, man!
2-Boba Fett, they should've gone with the rocket firing missile, it was the late 70's for christ sake,
there were heaps of rocket firing stuff from that era!!(and people had more common sense back then to know you shouldn't shoot it at someones eye, or so it would seem
compared to what people are like nowadays )
3-Biker Scout, add a holster for the gun on his boot, that would be awesome.
4-Luke Hoth, make him stand straight like the others, always thought this one looked crap because of that slight lean he did...
5-Luke Battle poncho, where was his lightsaber??!!

Finally done, took me about 30mins to think about this

Yeah its a tough one tundra, some great answers m8, so glad Maulster posted that other thread as it reminded me I wanted to do this one for a long time, lets hope a few others chip in with some more thoughts.

Easiest one

Han Carbonite - what sort of weapon is a big lump of plastic ? Where's his gun ?

Also Han got more muscular as each figure came out - from the puny original to the beefy Carbonite version

Second easiest

Darth Vader ffs was 7ft tall so why is his figure so small ?

Got to agree about the han carbonite no frecking gun & the huge torso is just so He Man - pink frilly pants!

Come on guys, surely you can do better.

8D8 should really have come with the branding iron set up accessory, it might have even made the Power Droid more popular as a victim toy.
