Grant, as I said it's OK for everyone to come and stay over at my place, the only rule is that everyone will have to wear vintage SW underoos. :lol: :lol: :lol:
I'm so much looking forward to CE and hope to meet a lot of you guys there in person. Before you come over we should all put up FS threads, so we can negotiate in advance what can be brought over to save on shipping costs.
EDIT: Honestly, what about SWFUK T-Shirts??? That would be great!

T-shirts is a great idea! You may want to limit the offer for everyone to stay at your place. It could get messy

ROAD TRIP!!!!!! To be honest it would make the trip more viable for me if I could stay at Dennis', and it would be much more fun than staying in a hotel. I don't have underoos but I do have vintage Yoda slipper socks. Jez ill liaise with you as we'll, quite happy to do the driving!!! This could be great!!!

Problem is that we have only limited space and the limited space we have is currently offered to a forum member, hope he'll come over. If we had a house (which is planned, but unfortunately not until then... ) you could all come over and stay, that would be legendary! Imagine guys talking vintage SW all day and maybe even trade stuff they brought over.
But my gf, who is indeed well known for her hospitality, imperial nut,, is already planning a garden party. :lol:
In all honesty, we don't have much space and we sadly cannot offer much space to stay over night, but you can all come over for BBQ in the evening. (What am I doing here, you guys will wreck my whole hometown, I know it! :lol
We are less than 50 kilometers away from Messe Essen, so if you want to come over you should do that by train.
It's too early to go into details now, but my offer stands, if you guys want to have BBQ in our garden and want to come over, feel free.

Yes guys, I'll be posting tomorrow some time with some pictures of our potential trusty stead which will take up to 6 of us to CE2.
My calculations work out to be about £150 for 4 going down to about £110/120 for 6. Yes I know that doesn't add up but fuel economy will naturally be worse with extra passengers.
As stated, I'll post photos, suggestions and rough costings tomorrow.
