case fresh french moc find june 2014 WOW

It is great there are these treasures still out there, just a shame certain sellers take advantage of true collectors by flogging these on at massively inflated prices.

Selling of one MOC alone on at more than they paid for a box load!!!!!

These should be cheaper, also I don't consider the ROTJ cards as desirable as the earlier Meccano's - maybe that's just me :|

What an amazing find!
Such a great investment. The seller is gonna be inundated with enquiries about individual sales.

i'd donate them to Jabba for his loose collection

& Chris - don't go slating my shipping case you SOB!

In all truth I doubt any of us would know what to do for the best if the find were ours, sure it would be several days/weeks/months before the shock wore off for starters, really love seeing these.

It always makes me think of the tight twat that ran star shop in leicester, he bought a full shipping case of ROTJ palitoy MOC's from an old guy who's son had died & the guy was trying to raise funds from what he had left behind, Mark the guy in question paid him 50p each for them case included, what a total turd, more turd as he would not sell me one for 20 quid, talk about tight as a cats arse on a frosty morning.

Huh? Who's slating the what now?

Just joking Chris, I love my shipping case though & in my mind (being a baggie nut) it's on par, but in most collectors eyes this is head & shoulders above it.

Did you miss I managed to pick up the Luke Jedi baggies shipping box?, only took me a year to get it in the end, only one baggie in but I am super stoked about it & one of a kind to date :)

& its mine all mine - where is the crazed lunatic smilie?

Amazing find. Who knows, could there be a sealed shipping case of Palitoy 12 backs tucked away in some former toyshop owners attic?

Sorry to butt in on the thread (haven't been on the forum in a while) but your post about packing cases caught my eye. Are there many people who collect these? Do you collect display stands and stuff too or just the cases? It was an area I had never considered before. I guess like most stuff there is a spectrum of rarity.

I've had a case of mini-rigs (not exactly a box of mint 12 backs!) in the cupboard for a while that originally I was going to sell on but, like some other guys have expressed, it seemed such a shame to do so. Pretty common stuff but it didn't feel right.

It blows my mind on how these are over looked for 30 years! It dose make you wonder what other undiscovered treasure may be hidden just waiting to be discovered.

Great stuff,I have a Australian shipping carton with 48 moc potf 92 back Anakins somewhere in my garage, under the Christmas tree I think? I would dig it out and take pics but unfortunately my camera is broke.
