If any other manager in the PL did that could you imagine the headliens!? Rafa or Capello would be hounded for weeks over it. Yet Fergy does it and no one bats an eye-lid (cos they are scared he will ban them).
As for his refusal to speak to the BBC (that's just ended after how many years?) If I was the Beeb, I would just have ignored all Man U results and simply put a caption on screen saying "as SAF is in breach of his contractual obligations to us, we will no longer be bringing you the results of any MU games."
He gets away with murder compared to any other manager. Ok I'm a 'Pool fan and not exactly a neutral but FFS he is/was legal obliged to speak to the them.
Rant over, back to laughing at United and their pathetic attempt to get out of a very easy (relatively speaking) CL group!
