car advice please

mechanical advice please .where me speedo is on car when i turn ignition on for a few secs 9300 comes up with a spanner .is this telling me its time for its service.
its a 307 2.0 hdi lx i know not as nice as some of your motors but we only had van and when i been driving that all week its like a little rally car

Its only a guide line m8, you can keep driving with that on as long as you like (assuming the car drives as it should & is quiet), but keep on top of the usual stuff like oil & filter change every few thousand & spark plugs clean the breaks filters (fuel & air) etc & you should be fine, they just want more money out of you this is why this feature has been added, I am not that mechanically minded but as long as you do the basics which are easy enough with a modicum of common sense.

service is due in 9300 miles. the count will drop until you get to zero. then it will start showing minus figures.
unless you want to sell it with service history, don't worry if it's running ok :wink:
