Can't see the wood for the trees.

It's definitely more enjoyable when you're not stretching yourself financially. I bought a couple of high ticket MOCs last year and the shine was slightly taken off the experience by guilt. I appreciate them a bit more now that I have replenished my savings. I am usually good at buying within my means, but for these two I just had to have them as they don't come up often (trilogo Jawa and Fett.)

I really enjoyed putting my loose set together last year because compared to MOCs it was like pocket money, literally just a few pounds here and there.

I've found that not putting the item on display for a while, until you've replenished your star wars fund ideally helps with the guilt!

You have to work with the space you have. Some guys with little space just focus on one character or some go for higher end items as they may only be able to get a couple of them a year. I have no focus myself. :p

Just moved house and got my own collection room!

Just put all my stuff in it and have absolutely no idea where to start!

Look forward to seeing some photos, must be exciting.

There are actually not many MOCs I want now that I have ticked most of my favs off my list. Yes in an ideal world I'd love a VCJ, 21 Fett, POTF AT-AT driver, LL ERG, POCH AT-AT Driver, but I'll never be prepared to pay the kind of money they command. This leaves me with limited options now. I will keep an eye out for AT-AT Driver MOCs at the less rare end for my focus, Canadian cards (affordable foreign focus), and any sensibly priced Palitoys. The Tri AT-AT Driver & Pali Luke X-wing I got recently have kind of been relief to get, because that's all my money gone now so no point scouring eBay. I can have a rest :D

In terms of a new arrival being great for 5 minutes then you are bored, I was like this in the beginning, but I found that was more about feeling I still had other pieces to collect to be content. I am pretty much there now, and reckon I can now relax and enjoy keeping an eye out for any bargains to put in the £50 and under thread.
