It's national poetry day so I had to drop a ditty...... ( had to end with my fav Kipling  )
What do we see in these little plastic men,
From days gone by, from those days when,
Nor mobile phone or social media,
Up the garden path would lead ya,
We spent our time with our boys toys,
That gave us endless fun games and joys.
Then all to soon serious we became,
Aside some cast their toys as lame,
But to the dreamer, the man and boy,
Still a prized possession not just a toy,
A tactile reminder of history days,
It's in your genes, yes there it stays,
So we can talk with crowds and keep our virtue,
Or walk with Kings, nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes, nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you but none too much,
Yours is the Galaxy and everything that's in it,
And which is more you'll be a man my son!
Keep the faith
