Eight days ago I was lucky enough to find two vintage Millenium Falcons in a charity shop for a £1, one was stripped right back and a shell (basically good for nothing) whilst the other was just missing the usual loose parts and was in good nick.

It has to have been over a decade since I've found vintage Star Wars toys in a charity shop, but eight days after the last find I go into the same charity shop today to find an immaculate loose Hoth Leia missing its weapon but the figure is in pristine condition, it cost me a mere 50p. I cannot believe my luck of finding two toys in a charity shop again. I know a Hoth Leia isn't amazing but I just find it fantastic that these toys are popping up in charity shops again. I spoke with the man in the shop today and he is going to contact me if anymore come in.

I also found a vintage Castle Greyskull in the same shop today but had to pay a tenner, but again an outstanding find. Wouldn't it be awesome if this could become a regular occurrence once again, it use to be a joy going round jumble sales, boot fairs and charity shops searching for these items.

I have renewed hope!

Awesome 8)

My advice would be to make some cast away comment to the manager, as there may be some awesome stuff in the store room, and it's just a case of when they get time to go through it and the stuff is coming out in dribs and drabs
But not to make a fuss, or prices will go berserk

If there has been 2 falcons, and a figure, there may be more.

May be some collector passed away and the mrs has no clue, just dumped it at the charity shop

You never know

Awesome mate, I cycled past my local charity shops today and had a look thanks to your story the other day...

Not a bean

Glad you had a bit more luck though 8)

I live in thanet in Kent but have found these items in same shop in herne bay, new second hand toy shop in ramsgate has opened this week so going to visit that today, hoping my lucky streak continues

I'm heading for the M2 right now! Only kidding, Mr Skinner- congratulations on another amazing find. I agree with Mike, play it cool next time you go in there, as there's sure to be more bounty lurking in that sorting room :D
