I've noticed that occasionally sellers end their auctions early, even though a number of bids have been made. I can't put links to them as unfortunately I deleted them from my watched auctions, but there were a couple of loose AFA 90 DT sabre figures on auction this week, with bids in the hundreds of pounds. Two auctions were ended early I think because there was an error in the listing or reserve (even though there was no reserve). I've also noticed similar things happen in recent months - a couple of weeks agao to an AFA 90 Boba Fett that had multiple bids.
Maybe I'm just being cynical that sellers could cancel auctions that don't seem to be heading to a final price that they had hoped for - but how can ebay allow this? I would be tempted to list some high value stuff for auction if I thought I could just end it early if I chose to... How do sellers do this and get approval from ebay for doing it?!
