Can we have a latest acquisitions thread, non star wars?

Something Ive thought about for a while. As someone who collects too much from many different toy lines, I'd love to see what other people have acquired. Is there a thread already that died because no-one used it? Vintage obv.

I know, been through it all, but it doesn't get added to very often, at least not enough for my liking! Haha. I just like seeing peoples vintage toys, even though many toylines I don't collect, I still played with what a lot of you guys collect when I was a kid, and love seeing them now.

I just read somewhere on here a member got some vintage daleks, and thought "ooh I'd love to see them!" may have been fuzzybuzzytoys. Just wondered cos theres both a latest acquisitions thread in star wars collecting chat, and a show case thread. Where as people may not update a picture of their GI JOE or transformers collection for every new thing they get. Though I think Michael Sith does do that in the other collections.

:lol: :lol: I don't update with everything as I pick up some real tat, that is to me silver and gold :!: to others WTF :!: for example I'm going to eventually pick up a boxed snowspeeder that I have been procrastinating on for awhile, but the same guy has a Rentaghost annual that I have to have as well :lol: :lol: :lol:

Other collections thread does give free range, I do think we need to be wary that the SW forum does keep to just that, with provision for other stuff, or the forum will get inundated by weird and freaky new members like Me and you Ryan :lol: that maybe won't get involved in the core ethos of this forum, and become a thorn in the side, but, that's only my opinion!

Do like other stuff, but draw the line at cabbage patch dolls and Sindy! :lol:

This is a great idea. Maybe modify the old 'other collections' thread, or just a new section specifically for other toys, comics, collectibles etc.

Yeah, I have expanded my collecting into a few different areas. Recently purchased two boxed vintage Daleks, both from the 70s. One is a Palitoy talking Dalek from the 70s. The other is .. **** cant remember, but its older and hasa flashy light and runs around! Will post some pics up if you like. And if you are coming down to FF4 they will both be on my table.
