Buying it never even entered my head mate, thought it was probably a fake. I've got it in my watch list, see if any one actually makes a bid.

These pop up periodically, they are production figures left to soak in a certain solution.... First shots should have no coo, date stamps or any other copyright info.
Normally one springs up for sale every two to three months. Steer well clear and put the seller on a block.... Just in case you forget in the future and your tempted by something else he has made!! :wink:

Ha ha. I used to have a brown and red one of these. You would be amazed the colour of plastic they used for c3po figures under the chrome. As stated in above post , just steer well clear. With a little bit of knowledge ANYBODY can make one of these. But most of the collectors know this so I imagine that it will stay unsold. On a sidenote: what a waste of a ledy c3po!

No one bid for it at $90 2 weeks ago, so now he wants $80 :roll: I doubt it's even Ledy- just a Kenner version with a screw smashed in it :x

i bought the exact same figure some months ago from my local flea market, seems like i got a bargain as it was only 50p, posted a few pics on tig in case i had "gotten a rarity" on my hands, turns out it had been soaked in a certain toilet cleaner to remove the outer coating/ paint. Its still in my collection .
