Buying films advice

Right, quick question

I want to buy some films and tend to like all the extra little bits that come with it. Was wondering what the best version of 'The Thing' and 'The Exorcist' are to buy as there seem to be several version, especially of the the exocist.

i got a copy of the thing from dvd shop for only a couple of quid which had extras in, didnt wathch any myself then sold it on ebay, think it was the definetive version but could be wrong?

was worth the 2.99 i paid though

I know what you mean Gary. I get so pised off with different versions/releases of films - I think I own three different versions of Blade Runner :shock: ones the original version, ones the directors cut and ones the final cut! I think its the same with the Terminator where I have the original and the "ultimate edition" and now theres blu-ray too :evil: :evil: :evil:

Best bet mate is to look at the ones you want online and read which extras there are on each one. I know Empire still review a dvd/blu-ray on the amount and quality of its extras still
