Hi guys recently decided to restart completing my collection which I started in 1990 as a 6 year old so as you can imagine need quite a few! Joined this thread to see if there are any sellers in the Brighton or surrounding areas who I can buy from. Have been to snoopers paradise and cosmos but looking for other sellers please?

Those are the only 2 sources in Brighton. However one of the cabinets in Snoopers is owned by a scammer so best to avoid. The other, larger cabinet is owned by a guy called Tim... he is a collector like everyone here so knows his stuff.

Cosmos is owned by a good friend of mine. He has a few vintage bits in, but generally the figures and vehicles are incomplete. Does have some decent bits in from time to time, but only what people take to him.

Best place if you want to buy is either on here, or the facebook groups. You know you're getting something decent for a decent price... and not overcharged like eBay.

Hello chap.

I used to live in Brighton (well, hove actually ;) ) moved to Horsham in May of this year (family).

There is little in Brighton apart from snoopers, although I never went to cosmos. My advice (to you as well mark ;) ) get your arse down to fordingbridge to an event called farthest from. The biggest vintage Star Wars show in the uk bar none. The guy who has the largest cabinet in snoopers was selling there at the last one, as well as several other dealers. You will make a shitload of contacts as well as some new friends and get all the vintage you need.

Thanks for you advice. Yes a great guy in cosmos spent £45 in there recently adding to my collection. I've read on here before about the scammer but wasn't sure what he did nor why his stall should be avoided? The other is stall 83 which is the better one I believe?

So any advice why to void him will be appreciated! Also any links to the facebook groups and sellin pages on here as had a quick look but was a minefield for me!

Toy Toni is the guy that people are probably talking about down in Brighton - he 'allegedly' perpetrated the biggest scam this hobby has seen - fooling most collectors and even the grading companies - I believe he still has a booth down at Snoopers but keeps a lowish profile these days

yeh best off online mate, you will get some bargains from time to time on ebay too.

As a new collector would also like to learn of some good online places other than on here and eBay
