Got the lastest catalogue (or "Catalog" as them Yanks spell it) today. Not that interesting, although they have started stocking transformers Jabba.

There's something in it about "Premier Collectable Auctions" which is due in 2008 sometime, supposedly some rare items up for auction. I think it's Tom Derby's new baby.

If anyone wants the catalogue let me know and I'll post it to you, otherwise it's going in my bin. Like I said though it aint that exciting.

Tom Derby is going to be flogging his full set of 16 mint 3-packs. Probably worth Ã'£1500-2000 a-piece That should pay the bills for a bit :shock:

I'd love one but then I think well they were not something I really remember as a kid. Apparently they were bloody hard to find even in the US.

I think you could only get a couple of the ESB sets in Europe at the time and maybe not even in the UK. It was all US Department Store stuff.

But, like you guys I don't remember them from my childhood so they don't have much of an attraction for me. Plus, I'm guessing they are far from cheap!?

Their postage rates are also higher than most US sellers which puts me off buying from them.

after a closer look it seems that they mostly take the piss with the graded stuff

They are very top end prices even with the Ã'£1 = $2 exchange rate and they don't fiddle the customs for you Even so they sometimes have a few well-priced bits (often Palitoys) 'very' occassionally.

It's a shame they take the piss with the pricing because they do have a great selection of stuff.
Although, I guess they may have so much selection becuase they take the piss with the prices thus no one buys from them and or sellers are happy to sell to them.
