i know its only tuesday but getting giddy already .like when i have a go on lotto i believe i,m gonna win this time .when i go to carboot i believe i,m gonna come across a rare sw item being sold for pennies :lol: never happens .

going to doncaster one as its about the biggest i know of in yorkshire

Back in the day it was a lottery win evey sunday near enough (from 1989 to about 1993). I picked up no end of stuff, things that stick out in my mind were:

12" Ben, Leia, and Chewbacca mostly complete for £3
about 2 1/2 to 3 sets of last 15 over 4 years for like pennies
HUNDREDS of boxed vehicles, minirigs, creatures and playsets from 50p to about £10 each
Carded Imperial Dignitary Trilogo for £6
About 10 X 12" Boba Fetts in various stages of completeness 50p to £3
About 4 X 12" Vaders as above
About 3 to 10 or so of each: 12" C3POs, R2 D2s, Stormtroopers
Tons of 70s and 80s toys like Action man, Cyborg and Muton, Dinky and Corgi, 6MDM. all for next to nothing

I never saw 12" Han, Luke, jawa and obviously IG 88 - they were all picked up from fairs, 12" boxed I never saw on bootsales even though my mate picked up luke and fett before I got into it, carded was thin on the ground too.

Boot sales are great. I know the feeling - you just never know what you might unearth. Big one by us, but I only ever see box fulls of crap, old, dirty SW figs - and the guys want like £2 a fig - usually missing weapons and capes etc.
Nevermind, plenty of cheap games and stuff to cheer me up normally!

I was at a boot sale in sedgefield a few weeks back and a guy wanted £20 for a battered loose prune face without his cape or gun lol

Actually I did pick up a solid belly tauntaun complete for £2 on saturday at a bootsale, so stuff is still out there.

wow there was only a stall selling nothing but vintage :shock: :shock: loads of loose figs 3 fir a fiver some last 17 for about 30 each a carded han trench unpunched very nice ,thoough bubble was yellow £15 loads of vehicles some in bad shape .a imp shuttle boxed ,he wanted £30 for it so didnt even bother looking in box :lol: :lol:
told him about this place ,that he may shift some on here as he had trouble with people paying online .i told him you lot were ok and new what you were on about :roll: the **** i come out with .

he had some card backs and showed me one which had been repaired and we had a chat about han :lol: :lol:
if i had some more cash on me i proberly would have bought some thing .he had a nice cap 2 mini rig (think thats name )but i dont know weather all stickers were on so i left it .and a nice tie fighter

he had a luke stormie which was mint apart from a few paint rubs on his hair ,he said is it c7 but i would have gone a bit higher as this was only fault .how do you tell a fake luke helmet anyway

be nice if he comes on as i can check when hes going back

Hemswell market last week a bloke had a boxed B-Wing, in pretty good nick too and wanted £35.
