Im starting to read a lot more SW books and comics now, and would like info on the best people to buy from etc. I was perhaps thinking we could have a sticky thread for such things

Lee, I get all my new comics from DisposableHeroesComics on eBay. £2.75 delivered for the $3.95 comics is very good value and when one turned up with a small tear on the back cover? No quibble replacement sent out same day.

Im going frigging doolally at the moment. Marvel are releasing so many different comic covers/variants that its getting confusing. So we have issue 1-8 ok, am I right in saying that only the covers are different and not the actual stories inside? Im seeing Leia and Lando number 4,5 etc and I just want to read the bloody things. Im buying the figure variants purely as part of my collection, but I also want a set to read.

Please help me out here chaps. Which ones do I buy!!!

I'm also collecting these action figure variants and 1-8 all have different covers for each issue but are the same story inside. Leia, Lando and Vader are each separate stories and only the first issues of these had the action figure variant cover with other covers printed for these number ones as well but with the same story in each of them. The Boba Fett action figure variant is an exclusive issue of issue 4 and 7 and again it's only the cover that's changed and the same story as the one from the 1-8 run (Chewbacca and Stormtrooper covers).

I'm thinking there maybe other standalone comics to come but that's all I know of at this point.

Well,got to say that im really enjoying getting back into reading comics again. Storyline and art are great, and its good to see the gap between ANH/ESB revealed.

Ive just bought a set of Leia,Lando comics but am on the fence now about the others. I know these seperate character stories will be getting released as graphic novel books, but i love the covers on each comic which is the only reason i like to buy each comic instead of the complete set as a novel.

Also struggling to find a checklist with past and future releases so i can keep up to date.
