Thought I'd share my little fellas birthday cake with you lot just be sure to leave some for the rest of us!

Hard to believe a year has come and gone already, how much they change in such a short time. As you can probably see he had an unfortunate collision with his older brothers head only two days before his party which resulted in a whopping great black eye. The birthday cake ( made by our very talented neighbor ) has Bam Bam on it as that's his nickname and it's very well suited.

Funny how kids are so different, Benji is so much rougher than our first. He just barrels through anything always climbing on furniture (and falling off) nothing fazes him where as our first is the most cautious little bloke, everything he does has a risk calculation applied before he attempts it :lol: . Great fun watching them grow.

He looks HUGE for a year! Emma is only 2 months away from her 1st birthday and we think she is big (pic below), I would have said your lad is 2 years old from those pics!

Ha! what a little cutie Joe!

Yeah he's a brute of a boy he's off the scale with his height for his age and he's bloody strong. Our neighbour has a 19 month old boy and Benji is an inch taller than him. I'm trying to get on his good side as we think he's going to be a monster :lol:

We both have quite tall relatives on both side which probably helps, I think his brother is going to have to learn to be be a fast runner :lol:

When you take em in for their first year checkup they compare their height for age Benji is two inches taller at the same age than our first Daniel and Daniel was in the top 10% for his height vs age.

:lol: :lol: Yeah he'll be a Ruckman or a Full Forward for sure, you'll have to google that for translation :lol:

He has four front top and bottom and is teething through four of his back teeth at the mo. He's in a hurry!

Happy birthday Benjamin, he is indeed a big un for his age, they all develop at different rates, I have 2 girls that are only 18 months apart, one is 11, the other just turned 13 & the 13 year old is at least twice the size & weight of her sister, even my 8 year old lad is taller & heavier than the 11 year old.

Cracking cake too, very talented neighbour you have, hope he has a great day.

Congrats, I love it when they are that age and really excited for Xmas. My youngest is 9now and won't believe in Santa anymore

Yeah it's a fun age, he's still a bit young to appreciate it yet but he'll certainly have fun ripping up the paper and playing with the empty boxes.
