Hi guys I have this 2 palitoy cardbacks that I thought was the same.

But as you can see there is some graphic error on the left arm on the bottom cardback. I got 2 of them with the same error with some other cardbacks.
He told me they all came from the same danish childhood collection. Any of you who have ever seen that error before or know more about it ?

Do you have a closeup of the error? You also say it is on other cards. Do you have examples of those. There are various different printing errors on palitoy cards. The c3po removable limbs red dot is the infamous one. I wouldn't really call any of these printing errors variations in their own right.

Cheers Jason

Looks like a regular printing error to me. I need to take a look at my 4 doubles to see if I have one!

Thanks Jason, my fear is that is could be repro or custom made cards. But maybe just a factory printing error :?

Surely it is just a factory error, they probably just didn't spot it at the chromalin proof stage or something got on the film later when it was on the press. I think they rushed this figure out quickly when they realised that the human figures weren't very diverse with hardly any black people or women!

All mine are without splodge so I would say the printing error like most printing errors is rare.

Thanks, very strange I found 2 of them in the same collection  I bought them from another danish collector. This is the first time I have talked with him and bought from him. He told me he found them in a danish childhood collection. There was also a lot of other cardbacks in the lot with price stickers on them. But also a few with no price stickers. Like this 2.

First I thought they were maybe repro :?

I have tried to google palitoy black bespin guard cardbacks to see if other have some. But also no luck there.

I can't be the only one to have them if they are real.
