I sent out a single figure, Bib Fortuna, to a new member on the boards here. Cos he was a non expensive figure and because I wanted to keep the postage cost down I sent him Second Class Non Recorded. This was well over a week ago. The member has contacted me to say they havent received the figure. So either the little guy has got lost in the post (which has never rhappened to me before) or I might have posted to another one of your guys by accident.

So Has anyone received a surprice visit from Bid recently? And do items STILL get lost in the post??

And yes, I have learned my lesson, EVERYTHING will be sent recorded delivery from now on I'm afraid

One week for 2nd class isn't the end of the world - I think you are worrying a bit too much - I'd give it til the end of the week before you worry about refunding

It's not me doing the worrying for once. 2 emails by the buyer chasing delivery see.

You never know when there's a strike on these days :? Could be that. Some items do just take forever

2nd Class Royal Mail deliveries can vary a lot in time scale...

Wouldn't worry yet, having said that Bib is a weak minded fool and he might have got sidetracked along the way.

Had the same happen to me on eBay, wanted to collect which I didn't want as I'm not keen on anyone coming around to my house, and then claimed non-receipt. Pretty sure it wasn't lost.

I get at least 1 or 2 go missing a month.
I don't think it's worth sending 1 figure recorded tho. If it does go missing you can always claim your money back at the post office. I've never actually done it cos it always seems more trouble than it's worth but it's an option.

I'm fairly confident Royal Mail say 15 working days before a claim can be raised. I'd give it at least three weeks before refunding. Then if it doesn't turn up, refund and put a claim in.

There's a package waiting for me at my local delivery office Jamie, All I can say is I sincerely hope it hasn't got Bib inside it, sorry :p

Find out in the morning :)
