Bib Fortuna 'Burgundy' cape

Figures crossed this is the right section, apologies if it's not -

Not looking for an evaluation per se, but confirmation if the following is fake or not. If anyone with better knowledge than myself can help, I would really appreciate it.

I bought a bundle of figures a few years ago that included a Bib Fortuna with a Burgundy cape. The seller was adamant it was genuine. All the other rare items he sold where 100% as he described, but I have never been sure on this figure (I am sure he felt he was telling the truth, so not saying anything about him like that). I think I picked him up late 2010/early 2011, he has been is storage since.

From what I could find out about this cape is I THINK it is a fake (especially considering the condition it is in), but I think it would be nice to know for sure as it has bugged me for years, but never thought of asking on a forum like this before!!

Could anyone help me out? Many thanks in advance!!!

I was thinking th same thing.. The dyed ones usually shrink and his robe is on the high water end of the spectrum.

the number of faked red caped bibs are indeed really high.

and you show us not the lili ledy burgundy caped bib figure

i heard about a red caped but cape was slightly more red then the burgundy caped (really not much)

It's fake sorry. Without going into too much detail it's way off in many ways. Most likely a custom dye job.
