It came from a loft find collection i bought a few years ago from the US.

hi james thanks do you know which variant of ben came with it do you think its worth anything

I'm sure there would be a variant that is 'more correct' but I'm not sure which
Bloody oath it's worth something (actually probably a lot- how much , again I'm not sure)
Be very careful handling it, especially in the tweezers they crumble. Now I remember someone on RS posted a picture of their DT Ben saber after they tried to take it out of his arm. It ended up in a baggie in a dozen tiny pieces :( I think once they start turning green it gets scary fragile. If I or someone can remember who that was with the bag of DT broken bits they would have an inner & therefore probably pay good dollars/pounds for an outer.

It's basically worthless
I would give you a fiver for it ;)
If it is the real deal it's worth a considerable sum.... A complete one afa graded sold for £2000 recently, so the outer saber on it's own is probably £3-500, maybe more.

For what my opinion is worth (not much lol) it looks legit to me.

Great score

Never say never! A member here called Del once found an outer Vader DT saber in a collection then years later he
managed to find the inner section to finally make a complete DT Vader. Great accomplishment that's for sure!

Great find, amazing that such a tiny piece of tubular plastic could be worth so much.

Best of luck whichever way you decide to go.

thanks for all your replies guys im gonna keep it for now anyway it owes me nothing i got it in a star wars case of 24 nice loose figures
and like joe said you never know im constantly buying loose collections from the US
i really do want to know the exact variant that goes with it though is there a certain coo or is it just white hair Ben

ill have to agree it is bizzar how much a small piece of plastic could be worth this is why i love buying loose collection :D

Very cool to see one of those even if it's just half of it. Still very rare and i agree with Ed, probably worth a few hundred ££ on it's own.
