Did anyone see that program about kids television last night on BBC 4?
They took a bunch of modern kids, did up a living room in the style of different previous decades from 90's back to 50's and showed them a few hours of kids TV from that time. They then had to give their opinions.
As an aside they provided toys from that time as well. Eg: Furbies and **** from the 90's.
The Seventies ones were Star Wars figures but it was piss poor continuity as they had a Luke Jedi (1983) in with them. I recall there was a Darth Vader and a few others but no accessories with any of them. Do they think they came like that originally or couldn't give a **** about getting things as accurate they had for the other toys.
Dear BBC......
Anyway the food they provided was funny as well. Started off with brown bread sandwiches, low salt snacks and reduced sugar drinks. By the 80's and 70's it was white bread, high salt, high sugar and tartrazine all the way.
