Just ordered one of the remote control BB-8 droids. So cool I can't wait to get playing with the little guy (no pun intended...)

the non-star wars version has been £99 for a while so i doubt this will come down until after xmas, it is expensive though dont get me wrong.

its no1 on the gadget list at the moment so expect parents to be paying ebay prices at xmas

The droid has arrived... BIG SMILE, this little guys is a lot of fun.
The controls take a bit of learning (or I am old and not as adept as I once was...) there are some fun functions in there, lots of lights and sounds. The patrol mode is good, although my BB-8 does enjoy crashing into things more than going around them. Also the droid and the cat may not become the closest of friends.

Overall, awesome.

There is something instantly likeable about this character for sure,
You just know he'll be fearless and a bit feisty just like another little droid we know
and love..

There is a learning curve with it, and you need a large flat floor, but its quirky and cool

I love that he seems to have random ticks and quirks that just pop out here and there, so much personality in a toy.
